Network Designer

Job Description :

• Configuration Generation : Utilize standardized templates to create device configurations for routers, switches, and firewalls based on designs provided by Senior Designers.
• Technical Documentation : Create and update detailed network diagrams in Microsoft Visio , including logical topologies, physical rack elevations, and floor plans.
• NMS Maintenance : Update Network Management Systems (NMS) and monitoring tools to ensure all new assets are correctly tracked, labeled, and monitored.
• Project Implementation : Provide hands-on support during network cutovers and migrations, ensuring the design is implemented correctly and testing connectivity post-change.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Coordinate with Project Managers to provide status updates and work with other business units to ensure seamless integration. Act as a technical liaison for Project Managers and other business units to ensure networking requirements are met on time and standards are followed.
• Inventory Management : Maintain accurate records of IP address assignments (IPAM) and port allocations.
