This is a temporary position within the waste management industry, offering hands-on work, physical activity, and the opportunity to contribute to the community by ensuring efficient waste disposal.

Assist with the operation of the garbage truck and follow the assigned daily route in a safe and efficient manner.Collect garbage from buildings, businesses, and other facilities as per schedule to ensure waste is disposed of according to established policies and procedures.Dismount garbage trucks to collect waste, then remount trucks to proceed to the next collection point.Sort recyclable materials and place them in designated truck compartments.Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or team leader.Safely operate and manage waste collection on assigned routes.Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.Assist with the sorting of recyclables.Ensure compliance with local waste disposal guidelines.Requirements :
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.Strong time management and organizational skills.Ability to handle moderate to heavy lifting.Comfortable working in various and changing weather conditions.Excellent coordination skills.A team-oriented attitude and willingness to work collaboratively.Own transportation to and from work is required.Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and following safety policies.Steel toed boots requiredMust have own reliable transportation to get to and from work location.
