A day in the life of a Breakfast Cook :
Ensuring the highest level of qualityand presentation of meals for guests.Breakfastbuffet for up to 150 persons with live stations in the dining room.Maintain ahigh standard of cleanliness of the entire kitchen.Follow allhealth and safety regulations and control all waste.Checkfridge, inventory, and prep list daily.Cleanfridges on a regular basis.Preparelunch for guests as needed.BavarianHouse Breakfast prep if necessary.Help withdinner prep of salad bar, leaf salads, oysters, and mussels as needed.Communicateall problems and suggestions to your supervisor.Must bepunctual for work shift.Maintain absolute professionalism whenon shift, company property and when in the presence of guests.Perform all duties and responsibilitiesin a timely and efficient manner within company guidelines.May be called upon to perform otherduties not listed, but within the position's scopeThe accountabilities listed above are provided as examples of area ofresponsibility and are not intended to create limits to responsibility but tohelp understand the scope of the position. Qualifications and Requirements :
Completion of arecognized culinary program preferred.Expert knowledge of allaspects of breakfast cookery.Expert level knifeskills.High levelmultitasking.Food Safe Certificationand WHMIS required.2+ years' experience in a similar position.Must be able to frequently bend and kneel, lift moderate weight,and work on feet for an extended period.Ability to communicate effectively.Ability to work efficiently, independentlyand as part of a team.Be willing to work a variety of day andweekend shifts.Attributes include an energetic personality,punctuality, self-starter, a sense of urgency and good grooming standards.Compensation :
23 per hour, plus auto gratuities, season completion bonus $1 per hour
