Operations Supervisor

Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Operations Supervisor (Windsor, Ontario) .

Hourly pay range $36.00 - $38.94. On-Site. Must possess a valid driver\'s license and be able to travel to United States for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a unionized workforce on daily operational duties
• Daily data collection, analysis and presentation of reports
• Financial reporting on operations
• Vehicle production upfits for MOPAR and Windsor Assembly Plant
• Ergonomic and Environmental system audits
• Health and safety programs
• Development of new programs including bid packages and process development
• Engineering support for existing and new programs
• Implementation of new technologies
• Compile presentations and speak in front of large audience

Qualifications

Shifts and times may vary; must be available for any shift. Finance background is a plus. Experience in conflict resolution and supervising a unionized workforce is an asset. Strong team player with initiative, able to work independently or in a team. Strong diagnostics and problem solving skills. Strong communications and organizational skills. Familiar with process control, optimization and analysis of data. Strong background in PC applications (Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, CATS, PFS, HPIMS, ODIMS, PSAP). Operations are steady days but shift work may be required. Must possess a valid driver\'s license and be able to travel to United States for meetings.
