About the role :

Borrowell is looking for a Group PM to help fulfill Borrowell's mission to make financial prosperity possible for everyone.

You'll work to understand how consumers make financial choices and develop personalized products to empower them to optimize these key decisions as they relate to their credit score, financial products, spending and saving.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer you'll work cross-functionally with our Design, Engineering and business leads to identify and solve user problems.

You'll lead and mentor our team of product managers as well as work hands-on within your pod to create data-informed solutions that solve user problems and contribute to business results.

In this role you will play a crucial role in shaping the future vision of our product while ensuring efficient collaboration and execution within the product team.

As Group PM you will have the opportunity to create a huge impact by building products that will help make financial stability possible for millions of Canadians.

Responsibilities :

  • Act as a player / coach both leading a Product roadmap and a team of 2 product managers
  • Work cross-functionally with Business, Engineering, Design and Data
  • Develop and implement efficient working frameworks and processes to enhance collaboration and streamline workflows across the Product function
  • Effectively communicate product vision and strategy to all teams across the business
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and partnerships, to drive product development from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with member needs and market trends
  • Take a data-driven approach to owning the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on member feedback, market research, and business goals

Requirements

  • 5+ yrs of experience in product management with a proven track record of delivering successful products from concept to launch
  • 2+ yrs of experience managing Product Managers
  • Experience using product development methodologies, design thinking principles, and working in an agile environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • The ability to translate your Product strategy into an actionable roadmap for current and future product development
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, PivotTables, Tableau, PowerBI or equivalent, we use Looker

We are remote-first across Canada with an office in Toronto. This role requires you to attend in-person meetings and team-building events.
