Role Description

This is a full‑time, hybrid on‑site/home role for an Accounting Clerk based in Montreal, QC. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for maintaining and updating financial records, performing bookkeeping tasks and assisting with monthly accounting reconciliations. In addition, the Accounting Clerk will need to contact customers for collection. Support will also include utilizing accounting software to manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and collaborating with the finance team to assist in meeting organizational financial goals.

Requirements

• Pertinent Accounting experience; minimum 2 years
• DEP in Accounting; DEC an asset
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and accounting software; Sage an asset
• Advanced proficiency in both English and French
• Strong decision‑making ability and accountability
• Good time and priority management
• Financial Statements and Analytical Skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the logistics industry is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Previous experience in logistics or transportation industries is an asset
• Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
