What can you expect from this position?

Reporting to the Executive Director, Digital Products & Technology, the Director, Product Management provides enterprise leadership of Toronto Pearson’s product management discipline, co‑owning the digital product portfolio strategy with business executives. You will define how products are prioritized, built, and measured across all domains, aligning digital investment to enterprise goals and measurable outcomes. You will lead senior product leaders to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable digital solutions while embedding AI, data, and automation to drive innovation, operational efficiency, and passenger experience excellence. The Director serves as a key advisor to the Executive Director, translating vision into enterprise‑wide transformation.

As Director, Product Management you will:

• Own enterprise product vision for digital products and OKRs.
• Set portfolio guardrails and prioritization principles across domains; communicate strategy and outcomes to executives.
• Prioritize and sequence cross‑domain roadmaps balancing reliability, risk, and growth.
• Establish product standards, metrics, and health dashboards; leverage AI‑driven insights to optimize value realization.
• Partner with Operations, Commercial, and corporate functions to align outcomes and influence executive and board‑level forums.
• Build external vendor and innovation partnerships to accelerate outcomes; resolve cross‑functional conflicts and escalations.
• Manage CAPEX and OPEX planning to maximize portfolio ROI, while driving vendor strategy, negotiating contracts, and ensuring optimal performance.
• Track benefits realization and report AI‑driven efficiency, revenue, and customer experience gains.
• Ensure adherence to security, privacy, safety, and regulatory standards; maintain audit‑ready governance artifacts.
• Lead and inspire a team of senior product leaders, fostering a high‑performance culture through coaching and development.

This is the role for you, if you have:

• 10+ years in product management or adjacent digital roles.
• 8+ years of leadership experience, including cross‑functional leadership.
• Proven track record of bringing digital products to market and developing large‑scale business cases.
• Expert knowledge of product management, agile, and lean methods.
• Familiarity with UX/journey mapping, analytics, and digital platforms/APIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field; MBA is considered an asset.
• Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance.
