Accounting analyst

Arche TIa fast-growing Quebec-based company specializing in Odoo ERP integration, is looking for a passionate Accounting Functional Analyst to support clients in the implementation, training, and support of the accounting module.

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients’ accounting needs. You will analyze internal processes, propose tailored solutions, and lead interactive training workshops to maximize the use of Odoo modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for clients’ accounting needs.
• Analyze and translate accounting processes into functional solutions within Odoo.
• Configure and set up accounting, invoicing, and expense modules in Odoo.
• Document accounting processes, financial flows, and ERP configurations.
• Lead user workshops and train clients on accounting modules.
• Import, verify, and validate client accounting data in Odoo.
• Configure product categories and manage automated inventory.
• Test, validate, and deploy accounting functionalities.
• Provide user support and resolve ERP accounting-related questions.
• Prepare and present demonstrations of modules and new functionalities.
• Identify and propose process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency.
• Ensure data security and adherence to accounting best practices.
• Participate in follow‑up meetings and support strategic team decisions.
• Mentor and support new functional accounting analysts.
• Track Odoo updates and stay informed on ERP best practices.
• Perform other related tasks as required.

Requirements

• University degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or as a functional accounting analyst.
• Experience with ERP software integration is an asset.
• Knowledge of Odoo is an asset.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for knowledge sharing.
• Proficiency in French and functional English, both written and spoken, to assist anglophone clients across Canada.

Salary: $33 to $37 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule: Flexible, 30 to 40 hours per week.
