Senior Marketing Manager – Insurance

An exciting opportunity is open in the insurance industry for a marketing professional to drive impactful initiatives in Montréal. This hybrid role offers a chance to lead innovative marketing strategies, leveraging digital and direct channels to support B2B Individual and Behavioral Insurance. The position focuses on delivering measurable business results, fostering collaboration, and optimizing omni-channel campaigns to achieve business objectives.

  • Hourly salary of $70 to $83, based on experience.
  • Incorporated Business Rate : $85 to $98 per hour.

Responsibilities :

  • Deliver measurable business results by developing and executing strategies that balance short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships across multiple functions, ensuring alignment and delivering high-impact marketing solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure marketing projects are executed within timelines, budgets, and set objectives.
  • Innovate continuously to identify growth opportunities and enhance marketing approaches.
  • Communicate and present effectively to diverse stakeholders across the organization.
  • Adapt quickly to changing business needs, maintaining a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Leverage expertise in digital, direct, and analytical marketing to drive funnel optimization and ensure a strong return on marketing investment.
  • Lead end-to-end marketing planning, from strategy development to execution, across omni-channel platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to create fully integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Manage marketing budgets, including forecasting and financial target alignment.
  • Measure and optimize campaign performance in real-time, working closely with reporting and analytics teams.
  • Translate product benefits into clear, compelling customer value propositions.
  • What you will need to succeed :

  • Post-secondary education and demonstrated business acumen.
  • Secondary education in a French-language institution in Québec is considered a desirable asset.
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with expertise in digital, direct, and social marketing.
  • Strong understanding of what drives return on marketing investment and the ability to translate consumer insights into impactful marketing strategies.
  • Proven track record of driving marketing efficiency, success, and optimization in media and direct marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver both short-term and long-term business results through strategic planning and execution.
  • Analytical capability, including experience working with research, insights, advanced analytics, and finance teams.
  • Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual - Ability to communicate with customers and clients in both English and French (Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking in French).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on aligning marketing initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to adapt to changing needs.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry is an asset but not required.
