JPC -1453 - Business Systems Manager

Overview

Our client is looking for a Business Systems Manager to join their dynamic team.

As a Business Systems Manager you:

• Collaborates with business owners and provides input on developing a strategic roadmap of business systems
• Develop strategies to help the company leaders achieve their goals through efficient and cost-effective technology solutions
• Effectively manage multiple projects with appropriate prioritization and resource management while meeting timing and financial commitments
• Design, develop and implement policies and procedures
• Preparation of annual budget for area of responsibility
• Develop KPIs to help manage the operations and identify areas of improvement
• Effectively manage suppliers and managed service provider relationships to ensure achievement of contractual SLAs and lowest cost alternatives in place
• Oversee a corporate-wide application architecture that demonstrates how technology and systems support all essential business functions and data flows
• Ensure that proposed business solutions align with the enterprise architecture's overall company goals and technical capabilities
• Lead the Business Systems Analyst team and mentor them in business analysis and project management skills
• Track and monitor IT software development projects to efficiently utilize software development time
• Ensure that all IT projects have clear requirements, agreed to by all stakeholders, and an acceptable return on investment (ROI)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a people leader overseeing application systems and administration with proficiency in Salesforce and development
• Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a global environment with minimal guidance - be an owner
• Balances team and individual responsibilities; recognizes accomplishments of other team members
• Inspires and motivates others to perform well, drives performance of others toward business goals
• Develops strategies to achieve organizational goals; understands organization's strengths & weaknesses
• Proven ability to partner with internal business stakeholders, IT resources, and third-party software providers
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, critical thinking, and project management skills
• Proficient in project management tools such as Jira or Monday.com
• Innovative thinker capable of operating both in a strategic capacity (big-picture perspective, asks "why") and a hands-on/execution capacity (detail-oriented, conscientious)
• Strong verbal/written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills across the business
• Stay updated on new tools and technologies to assist the team in creating the most efficient and effective data strategies
