Veterinary Hospital Manager, Downtown Animal Hospital
Downtown Animal Hospital located in Toronto, ON., is thrilled to offer an exceptional opportunity for an experienced individual like you to join our leadership team as Hospital Manager.
Our Hospital Manager, under the guidance of the Regional Operations team, along with the support of and input from the Medical Director performs a wide range of administrative activities related to overseeing the business operations of the practice.
With a passion for client service excellence and fostering a collaborative, mentoring team culture, some of the responsibilities and attributes for this role are :
- Experience, minimum 2 to 3 years; experience in supervising medium size teams (20+)
- Demonstrating exceptional leadership skills by fostering positive relationships, providing coaching opportunities, and promoting quality patient care and excellent client service
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents and community
- Adaptable; the ability to adapt to change in a growing multifaceted client service and animal health industry
- Driving and managing positive change in processes, people, and growth through effective change management
- Hiring, and developing the veterinary, technical and administrative staff toward the goal of quality patient care and excellent client service
- Participating in monthly P&L reviews, budget forecasting, operating plans, cap-ex expenditures, and evaluation processes with the Regional leadership team
- Administrative skills : scheduling staff, document control, filing, various reporting and coordinating office services (equipment / supplies / forms / procedures)
- Able to maintain strong client and local community relationships
