- Manage in-plant disposition of non-conforming material, including raising and tracking Non-Conformance Reports and ensuring proper segregation and identification of affected parts.
- Lead corrective actions for in-plant supplier quality concerns, partnering with Manufacturing, Vehicle Engineering, and the upstream Supplier Quality Engineer.
- Assess the impact of part quality issues on assembly operations and support temporary updates to work instructions or process steps as needed.
- Analyze and report in-plant supplier quality metrics (e.g., line fallout, non-conformance trends, containment effectiveness) to leadership.
- Identify systemic quality risks from in-plant failures and collaborate with the SQE team to strengthen upstream APQP / PPAP processes and prevent recurrence.
