Job Description
The Project Coordinator is a motivated, organized, and knowledgeable individual willing to contribute experience and expertise in managing fire sprinkler installations.
Task & Responsibilities
Assist in project management admin tasks : update and record meeting minutes for large contract meetings, update project management software to reflect current status, track & collect required close‑out documents.Creating as‑built drawings.Monitor and ensure project documents are up to date and filed correctly.Participate and use Procore for all project‑related tasks.Participate in RFI process.Collect, maintain, and complete close‑out binders for all large contract jobs.Track and manage required engineering site surveys.Maintain and update project directory.Prepare punch lists outlining work to be done, sketches of work completed.Prepare, log, review, and process appropriate paperwork / permits / documents for projects.Involved in all areas of project close‑out, including archiving documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies, warranty work, etc.Qualifications
1–2 years of project coordination experience, preferably in the fire protection industry.Post‑secondary education in fire protection or a mechanical‑related program.Proficiency with Procore for project management tasks is an asset.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.Exceptional organizational skills.Attention to detail.Strong technical writing skills.Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strict deadlines.Fire sprinkler or construction industry experience is an asset.Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.Experience with Excel, Word, AutoCAD.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to travel as required based on current project locations.Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.We thank all applicants who apply, but only those meeting the above qualifications will be contacted for an interview.
