Job Description

Join a leading global logistics company with a significant presence in Canada as a Reach Truck Operator. You will be part of a team that supports the distribution of products across Ontario, ensuring that goods are efficiently moved from production to retail warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Attend shift meetings and sign out necessary equipment such as RF Scanner and Dock Stocker.
• Use the RF Scanner to identify order locations and pick cases as instructed.
• Build full pallets by physically handling items weighing between 5-30 lbs.
• Stage completed pallets and proceed to the next order using the RF Scanner.
• Initially focus on case picking for the first 3-4 months, then receive training on reach truck operations for high-level case picking and some receiving tasks.
• Adapt to working in both fridge and freezer environments throughout shifts.

Essential Skills

• 6 months experience operating a Crown Reach truck or Dock Stocker (Stand up forklift).
• 6 months experience using an RF scanner.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in fridge and freezer environments in all seasons.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Having a vehicle is beneficial due to the location in Puslinch.
