Supply Chain Coordinator
What will you be doing?
- Order Coordination : Communicate with Project Managers and Service Offices to manage customer orders, including handling escalations.
- Production Planning : Execute short-term production planning, database management, and oversee manufacturing capacity and material flow.
- Process Improvement : Maintain and potentially create methods and practices for effective communication between planning and production teams, including establishing new policies or procedures.
- Resource Management : Optimize the use of resources to meet both short- and long-term goals while managing priorities.
- Reporting : Generate periodic reports for management.
- Delay Monitoring : Track delivery delays, manage internal customer issues, and address backlog activities.
- Collaboration : Participate in meetings with cross-functional manufacturing teams and collaborate with engineering to implement Lean solutions for material flow.
What Do You Need to Bring?
Education : College diploma (DEC) in engineering, supply chain management, or business administration. Supply chain knowledge is an asset.Experience : 3-5 years in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment (preferred).Technical Skills : Familiarity with electrical power distribution equipment manufacturing and proficiency in computer applications, especially Excel and Access.Soft Skills :Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
