Supply Chain Coordinator

What will you be doing?

  • Order Coordination : Communicate with Project Managers and Service Offices to manage customer orders, including handling escalations.
  • Production Planning : Execute short-term production planning, database management, and oversee manufacturing capacity and material flow.
  • Process Improvement : Maintain and potentially create methods and practices for effective communication between planning and production teams, including establishing new policies or procedures.
  • Resource Management : Optimize the use of resources to meet both short- and long-term goals while managing priorities.
  • Reporting : Generate periodic reports for management.
  • Delay Monitoring : Track delivery delays, manage internal customer issues, and address backlog activities.
  • Collaboration : Participate in meetings with cross-functional manufacturing teams and collaborate with engineering to implement Lean solutions for material flow.

What Do You Need to Bring?

  • Education : College diploma (DEC) in engineering, supply chain management, or business administration. Supply chain knowledge is an asset.
  • Experience : 3-5 years in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Technical Skills : Familiarity with electrical power distribution equipment manufacturing and proficiency in computer applications, especially Excel and Access.
  • Soft Skills :
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.

  • Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and decision-making skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Language : Fluent English for collaborating with provincial and international stakeholders.
