- Patrol wildlife and environment by truck, aircraft, boat or foot
- Present evidence in court
- Inspect fish catch for size
- Monitor legal fish season
- Inspect fishing gear and equipment
- Generate public awareness of fish and wildlife conservation and regulation
- Perform resources protection duties
