Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to :

• Coach team members on Safety Quality and Productivity to ensure objectives are met by adhering to standardized work.
• Optimize production throughput in alignment with budget and cost objectives.
• Monitor ANDON (a system to notify production issues) occurrences and serve as the initial responder for secondary support.
• Verify the production line s safe and smooth operation and its output of quality parts through Process Confirmation.
• Support Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) initiatives and coach problem resolution at the lowest possible level.
• Meet targets for First Time Through (FTT) inventory cost scrap supply and tooling expenses.
• Build the capability of both Team Leaders and Team Members.
• Create a conducive work environment that enables teams to complete their assigned responsibilities and tasks.
• Ensure effective communication and recognition within the team.
• Perform basic administration of supervisory duties and documentation.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

Education : College Diploma or Skilled-Trade Certificate of Qualification (CoQ). (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of completion for the highest level of education attained. If the diploma / degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required).
