Welding Engineer

A well-established manufacturing organization in the KW / Guelph area is seeking a Welding Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to support fabrication and automation activities within a production environment. This role offers exposure to fixture design, welding process development, and robotic welding systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and support weld fixture concepts in collaboration with Manufacturing
• Prepare drawings and bills of material to support fixture fabrication
• Ensure fixture designs support production rate, repeatability, and product quality
• Support maintenance, calibration, and preventive maintenance of production fixtures
• Assist in developing, documenting, and maintaining welding processes and procedures
• Develop and refine robotic welding programs to improve shop efficiency
• Support implementation of new welding technologies and automation
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities
• Provide clear technical updates and reporting to production leadership
