Job descriptionOccupational therapist working as a member of a multidisciplinary team at a school for neuro diverse students - Responsibilities include assessment, direct therapy (individual and group), and consultation with school-based team, parents, and other professionals -Demonstrates the application of activities specifically related to performance in the areas of self-care, productivity, and leisure. Evaluation and selection / adaptation to address adaptive, postural, self-care, sensory and fine motor skills. -Strong interpersonal skills and team approach - General caseload information : students aged 5-20, diagnoses may include autism, genetic syndrome (Down syndrome, Williams syndrome, DiGeorge syndrome, etc.), learning disability, cognitive disability Qualifications : - Masters degree in Occupational Therapy - Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia Job Specifics : - Days of work are based on the 10-month school calendar (September-June) - School days run 8 : 30-3 : 30 Monday-Thursday, 8 : 30-12 : 30 FridaySalary is dependent on experience
