A typical day would involve :
Rent Roll Management :
- Maintain and update the rent roll, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Track lease payments and manage billing and collection processes.
- Coordinate with tenants and landlords to resolve any discrepancies in rent payments.
Lease Reviews and lease administration :
Conduct detailed reviews of lease agreements and amendments. Analyze lease terms and conditions to ensure compliance and identify any potential issues.Prepare lease abstracts and summaries for internal stakeholders.Assist in lease negotiations and renewals, providing expert advice on lease provisions. Maintain accurate and organized lease files and records.Track critical lease dates, including expirations, renewals, and rent escalations. Ensure compliance with all lease terms and conditions.Reporting and Analysis and IFRS Reconciliation :
Generate and distribute regular reports on lease metrics and financial performance.Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on lease-related budgets and expenses. Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to lease expenses. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS lease reconciliations.Ensure compliance with IFRS 16 lease accounting standards.Prepare and review financial statements related to lease obligations.Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.Process Improvement :
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve lease administration processes. Implement best practices for lease management and compliance.Assist in the development and implementation of lease administration policies and procedures.Other duties as necessary.You have :
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Urban Land, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in lease administration or a related role.Strong knowledge of IFRS 16 and lease accounting standards.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in lease management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.You are :

The salary range for the role is $64,500 to $96,500 and a candidate’s offer is likely to be up to the mid-point of the role ($80,500) . The upper half of the salary range is typically reserved for individuals who have demonstrated consistent strong performance in the role and possess a high level of job knowledge and skill.
