VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team and drive immediate revenue growth.

Job Description:

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing sales team and cultivating strong relationships with customers. Your primary objective will be to generate immediate revenue by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the expedited logistics sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the expedited logistics business.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals, ensuring they meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored logistics solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform sales strategies.
  • Represent T.E Smith Transport & Logistics at industry events and trade shows to promote our services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative sales strategies.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
