We are currently hiring a Highly Skilled 5-Axis CNC Machinist to join our team in Mississauga or Burlington, Ontario .

Position Overview

The 5-Axis CNC Machinist is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating multi-axis CNC machines to produce precision components to exact specifications. This role involves working with high-value parts, tight tolerances, and advanced machining technology.

Pay Range : $32.50–$37.50 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

Shifts : Day and Afternoon Shifts (Overtime opportunities available)

Locations : Mississauga & Burlington, Ontario

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines (Mazak, Haas, DMG Mori, Okuma, etc.).
• Interpret and work from complex blueprints, CAD / CAM files, and engineering drawings.
• Use CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.) to create and optimize programs.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, CMMs).
• Optimize machining processes for efficiency, tool life, and part accuracy.
• Set up and operate CNC VTL machines for large-diameter components (30”+).
• Adjust tooling and programs as needed for production runs.
• Safely operate overhead cranes for large component handling.
• Maintain equipment, fixtures, and tooling in excellent condition.
• Follow all safety and quality protocols ; PPE and workplace safety are mandatory.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality assurance to resolve production issues.
