As an Senior Workplace Systems Specialist a typical day might include :

  • Working with the Manager, Workplace Systems and team to maintain the electronic Workplace Systems binder, accessible by all on-site and remote Workplace Systems team members
  • Serving as internal expert / support for the corporate phone system, primary to Ontario locations
  • Serving as the primary contact for Axis' external IT provider, for Ontario locations, and escalates issues as required
  • In collaboration with the VP and Manager, coordinating and facilitating acquisition, merger, and integration projects, as they arise
  • Supporting the Workplace Systems Manager in general Workplace Systems tasks
  • Assisting the Workplace Systems Manager with the maintenance of various vendor relationships; primary vendor relationship manager for Ontario-based relationships
  • Participating in new Systems projects as required, with support from the Systems Projects division
  • Helping the Workplace Systems Manager to coordinate Epic cleanup and recoding entries for the Workplace Systems team
  • Coordinating and assisting with other Business Systems tasks, as required

    • Must Haves :

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in fast-paced corporate environment, including at least 3 years' experience at a supervisory level
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Undergraduate University Degree, preferably in technology or business, or equivalent experience
