Job description

Adecco is currently looking for a Retail Cleaner to work part-time hours for our client located in Ottawa. This would be 12-15 hours a week, with some flexibility for which days are worked.   • Pay rate : 18.50 $ / hour

    • Responsibilities :

  • Sweep and mop floors regularly;
  • Clean and sanitize washrooms;
  • Perform deeper cleaning in crevices and hard-to-reach areas of the store;
  • General cleaning tasks throughout the store;
  • Dust and wipe down shelves, displays, and fixtures;
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly;
  • Replenish cleaning supplies as needed;
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the store manager;
  • Follow all health and safety regulations;

    • The Retail Cleaner must meet the following mandatory requirements :

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable working in a high-end retail environment
