Arise Talent Hub, on behalf of our esteemed manufacturing client, is seeking an experienced and strategic Production Head to lead and oversee all aspects of production and operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment in British Columbia. This leadership role is critical to ensuring optimal efficiency, productivity, and quality standards across the production floor while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Lead and manage all daily production operations, ensuring alignment with company goals, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
Develop and implement production strategies to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and maximize throughput.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments (e.g., Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to streamline production workflows.
Establish and monitor KPIs related to productivity, safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement by applying lean manufacturing principles and driving operational excellence initiatives.
Forecast production capacity, labor requirements, and equipment needs based on demand planning and market trends.
Recruit, mentor, and manage production staff, providing coaching, training, and performance management.
Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, quality assurance protocols, and environmental standards.
Oversee the maintenance of machinery, tools, and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
Analyze production data and prepare detailed reports for senior leadership to inform decision-making.
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and cost control measures across production operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA or relevant certification is an asset).
Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or production management role.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead large teams in a unionized or non-unionized setting.
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing software.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
Competitive salary range: $130,000 to $180,000 based on experience and qualifications
