Role Name : Sr. Project Manager / Scrum Master

JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with banking & financial services experience , a minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience to guide our agile teams in delivering high-quality projects efficiently. The ideal candidate will serve as a servant leader, facilitating collaboration, removing impediments, and ensuring adherence to Agile principles.

Key Responsibilities :

Ability to lead / oversee multiple initiatives under the portfolio director. Assume the role of Director on demand

Help the business grow (land and expand opportunity)

Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.

Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.

Identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth project progress.

Foster an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.

Track and report on team progress using Agile metrics such as burndown charts and velocity.

Promote Agile best practices and ensure adherence to Scrum principles.

Serve as a coach and mentor for team members on Agile processes.

Qualifications and Skills :

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.

Experience in Financial Services

Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps).

Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.

Previous experience working with cross-functional teams in a software development environment is a plus.
