Position Description
The Career Coach Facilitator Northern Ontario plays a key role plays a key role in the success of the Ontario Career Lab (OCL) - an innovative province-wide career exploration initiative led by HIEC that connects volunteer Career Coaches with Grade 9 and 10 students across position is ideal for a confident facilitator who is passionate about youth engagement and understands the unique communities industries and cultural landscapes across Northern Ontario.
The facilitator leads career coaching sessions in schools and ensures seamless coordination between educators volunteers and students. The role blends dynamic facilitation with program coordination and community engagement connecting youth to real-world career insights. A strong interest or background in career development experiential learning or workforce education is highly valued.

Job Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Deliver engaging opening and closing presentations that inspire students and set the tone for career exploration sessions.
Serve as the on-site lead for each event overseeing setup materials and volunteer orientation.
Build strong relationships with educators students volunteers and community partners.
Administer and collect post-session evaluations from students and Career Coaches.
Identify opportunities to enhance facilitation techniques and student engagement strategies.
