Job description

Duties :

Recruit research participants.
Conduct high -level and complex academic research and literature searches.
Collect and manage research data, conduct advanced analysis of research results and document findings.
Interpret research findings and perform editorial tasks.
Present project status and findings to stakeholders.
Organize and host seminars, focus groups, community meetings, special events, and other forms of public engagement.
Support funding procurement and staffing supervision.
Identify and assist in securing funding opportunities; prepare and submit documentation required by funding agencies.

Qualifications / Experience :

The ideal candidate will :

have a Master’s Degree in a related field, or be enrolled in a Masters Degree.

have completed research methodology courses at a graduate level.

have extensive research skills and sound judgment; working in community-based research is an asset.

have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively; strong written communication skills are especially important.

possess strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and be self-motivated.

have the ability to work independently and with others effectively.

have experience with project management and supervising staff.

have the ability to uphold high standards of confidentiality and research integrity.
