Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Bilingual Human Resources Manager is a versatile generalist. This professional plays a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and implementing comprehensive Human Resources strategies and programs
Key Functions
- Employee Relations : Advise leadership on HR policies, facilitate workplace investigations, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with legislation.
- Talent Acquisition : Develop recruitment strategies, manage full-cycle hiring processes, and oversee onboarding to meet organizational needs.
- Benefits Administration : Coordinate benefit plans and serve as a resource for employees regarding inquiries and escalations.
- Compensation : Manage salary reviews and incentives as part of the annual compensation cycle using ADP Workforce Now.
- Employee Engagement & Recognition : Analyze engagement survey results, implement strategies to boost culture, and lead recognition programs.
- Performance Management : Oversee review processes, monitor progress, and provide guidance on appraisals and individual development goals.
- Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion : Develop outreach programs, enhance recruiting practices, and implement an inclusiveness lens in policies and procedures.
- Health and Safety : Ensure compliance with occupational health regulations, monitor workplace safety programs, and conduct risk assessments.
- Psychological Health and Safety : Design and execute mental well-being initiatives to support employees, aligning programs with organizational goals.
- Policy Compliance : Update and maintain HR policies to reflect regulatory changes and ensure alignment with corporate standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Human Resources required.Five to seven years of experience in a Human Resources role, including a minimum of five years focused on employee relations, preferred.Certified Human Resources Professional / Leader designation (CHRP / CHRL) preferred.Managerial experience preferred.First Aid certification and Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) Certification are considered assets.Strong knowledge of Human Resources legislation and principles, including ESA, PIPEDA, WSIB, OHSA, AODA, Pay Equity Act, Human Rights Code, and related regulations, required.Proficiency with HRIS systems, such as ADP Workforce Now, preferred.Bilingualism (English and French) required.Compensation & Benefits
