Commercial Account Manager

Your Role

In the Commercial Account Manager role, you will be a member of the Customer Service team and is responsible for servicing clients within the commercial lines division. You should be highly motivated; detail oriented and maintains strong communication and relationship building skills.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will prepare all client facing documentation including invoices, letters, policy documents,

certificates of insurance

  • Manage the file creation, organization of client documentation, and updating of Client activity logs
  • Track and follow up Policy Documents to ensure received in a timely manner
  • Administer our client renewal process
  • Work closely with our Account Executives to service and manage all day to day activity, including establishing market risks for coverage placement
  • Coordinate account services including review of documentation for routine policy changes,
  • additions, deletions, renewals or cancellations

  • Manage the placement of our small business accounts
  • Communication with insurers as required to support the brokering function

  • Your Skills and Experiences

  • Minimum 3 years in a brokerage as an Account Manager / Customer Service Rep; knowledge of most
  • major markets

  • RIBO License required
  • EPIC Experience preferred
  • University or College Degree / Diploma an asset
  • CAIB, CIP, CRM or equivalent (or working towards) an asset
  • Understanding of the Property and Casualty insurance market; strong business acumen;
