Commercial Director - Nuclear Projects
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Director to support the commercial management of new and existing nuclear projects. Reporting to the Project Director, the Commercial Director will be responsible for Contracts and Risk Management, ensuring that accurate and timely commercial advice is provided in accordance with project requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Contracts and Risk Management
- Oversee the management of contracts, subcontracts, and risk for nuclear projects.- Team Leadership
- Supervise and support contract management and administration personnel.- Client and Subcontractor Relations
- Act as the primary point of contact for contractual matters with clients and subcontractors.- Process Management
- Develop and maintain efficient systems for identifying potential commercial issues and changes.Qualifications and Skills
- Experience
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the industrial engineering, procurement, and construction industry.- Education
- Technical or legal post-secondary education is required.- Knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of construction law, including negotiating and drafting major construction contracts.- Personal Attributes
- Strong judgment and leadership skills.- Technical Skills
