Your Opportunity

Our offices are looking for a Tax Technician to join the Domestic Tax team in September 2024 and own the following responsibilities :

  • Prepare simple and complex personal and corporate tax returns for a variety of clients
  • Review simple tax returns prepared by co-ops and junior staff
  • Communicate with CRA and the client to resolve tax inquiries
  • Act as a leader within the team, engage in training and coach members of the team
  • Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates on an ongoing basis
  • Build relationships directly with clients to understand tax history and provide the most value for ongoing tax compliance needs

    • Your experience and education

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience preparing Canadian Tax returns in a professional environment
  • You have experience working with a Tax preparation software ie. TaxPrep
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • You thrive in an extremely high volume, fast paced environment with tight deadlines
