Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly organized and driven Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team in overseeing disaster restoration projects. Key Responsibilities :
Assist Project Managers in coordinating and managing disaster restoration projects from start to finish.
Serve as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, insurance adjusters, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Help manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet project milestones and deadlines.
Track project progress and ensure all work is performed according to industry standards and company policies.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor job site conditions, safety, and quality.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including estimates, contracts, change orders, and reports.
Communicate with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist with claims management, including working with insurance companies to facilitate approvals and payments.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed on job sites, and compliance with local and federal regulations is maintained.
Support administrative tasks related to project management, including invoicing, material orders, and progress billing.
Qualifications :
1-3 years of experience in disaster restoration preferred.
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic project management software.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, scopes of work, and contracts.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in disaster restoration or insurance-related work.
Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software.
Knowledge of construction, safety standards, and industry regulations.
