What you'll do :

Working with the Operations Division of the Planning, Development and Public Works Department you will provide labour support for road maintenance activities and protect the crew and public by performing traffic control (flagging) duties.

  • Road Maintenance :   You will perform activities such as traffic control (flagging), pothole patching, and weed whacking,
  • Labour Support :   You will assist Public Works staff with culvert installations, ditch cleanout, sign repairs, guide rail repairs, brushing (chipping), shouldering, and asphalt repairs
  • In accordance with County Policy, a Criminal Record Check that is acceptable to the County will be required as a condition of employment.

  • Our non-negotiables :   You are a current student or will be graduating in early-2025. You have a valid, Ontario G2 (or higher) driver’s license and are comfortable operating a light-duty pick-up truck.
