Our client is seeking a contract based Technical Writer to work on the development of copy for websites and applications.
Duration : 12 months
Location : Hybrid 3d / week Toronto
Responsibilities
- Develop engaging and user-focused copy for websites, apps, email campaigns, tutorial videos, digital ads, and promotions to support complex user journeys and achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with Creative Production, Campaign Delivery Managers, and User Experience Managers to fulfill content requirements as outlined in creative briefs.
- Partner with graphic designers to ensure cohesive integration of copy with visuals for all key digital assets.
- Maintain and update all copy across client's digital platforms, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices, regulatory guidelines, and brand positioning.
- Create copy tone and style consistent with the brand’s visual identity to enhance audience engagement and reinforce positioning.
- Develop, edit, and review various customer-facing communication materials, including promotional content, direct mail, articles, blogs, email copy, headlines, and taglines.
- Collaborate with product and channel teams to align content strategies with business objectives and audience needs, ensuring the achievement of KPIs.
- Present creative solutions alongside the Creative Manager to stakeholders and adapt advertising copy for digital platforms as needed.
- Support strategic brainstorming, campaign development, and creative execution as part of a cross-functional team.
- Leverage UI / UX copywriting skills (preferred) to enhance user experiences.
Requirements
3+ years of digital copywriting experience (agency, design house, or in-house).Solid understanding of creative storytelling principles and writing styles across multiple mediums.Exceptional writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage complex stakeholder relationships.Conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities to craft engaging copy for diverse audiences.Proficiency in SEO principles and digital content best practices.UI / UX copywriting experience is an asset.Ability to develop and maintain SEO-optimized content.amiliarity with digital platforms and tools used for content creation and collaboration.
