Role

An exciting Casual opportunity as a Cardiac Technologist in the Cardiology department.

Type : Replacement

Hours : Variable

Responsibilities

• Performs holter hook-ups and scanning, stress testing, stress testing with echo / nuclear / pharmacological, ECGs, ambulatory BP monitor hook ups, dobutamine studies, and IV insertion for contrast studies
• Acts as an advocate for safety and demonstrates principles, practices and processes that will optimize a safe environment for all
• Records findings and maintains accurate and complete electronic patient demographics and charts
• Communicates with hospital staff and other team members to ensure seamless patient care
• Prepares and ensures proper setup of examination rooms, equipment, supplies, applicable consent forms and related details associated with the reason of the patient encounter
• Ensures delivery of excellent customer service
• Assists with quality improvement projects as requested
