About the role
The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing and troubleshooting electrical equipment. Their background in electrical / mechanical assembly greatly aids the team and ensures fast and efficient resolution to any issues that may arise.
The successful candidate must be available to work the following shifts : Monday to Friday 6 : 30am-3 : 00pm and 2 : 45pm-11 : 15pm.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and / or modify electronic parts and equipment
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, work orders or reports
- Ensure proper soldering and installation of electric wiring
- Test and troubleshoot equipment, and correct any defects
- Set up and operate hand and power tools
- Keep track of material, tools and equipment, and inform supervisor of shortages
- Properly and consistently document and follow established procedures
- Wear proper PPE at all times (must have own helmet and steel toe boots)
- Other duties as assigned
