The Edmonton Police Service has a temporary eight (8) month position for a Website Content Creator in the Marketing & Digital Media Unit. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, high-energy setting and will oversee the daily management of both the organization’s intranet and public websites, including :
- Scheduling and publishing content.
- Ensuring content is current and accurate.
- Writing articles and creating graphics tailored to client needs.
- Taking photographs using your mobile device and / or a DSLR.
- Other related duties as required.
Job Requirements
Graduation from a recognized community college or technical institution with a diploma or a certificate in web applications, web design, web writing or a related program supplemented by a minimum of one (1) year experience with proven web writing and web development skills.A university degree would be considered an asset.A minimum of one (1) year of experience in related field or able to demonstrate the necessary skills for the position.Working knowledge of the Internet, Social Media, and HTML programming.Excellent oral and written communications skills.The ability to maintain excellent working relationships and deliver a high standard of services.Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as an integral part of a team.Hours of Work : 33.75 hours per week. 0800 – 1600 hours Monday – Friday.
Salary Range : 21M, Salary Grade : 014, $33.08 - $41.43 (Hourly), $2,233.00 - $2,797.00 (Bi-Weekly), $58,280.45 - $73,001.63 (Annually).
