RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKER ROAD TO RECOVERY (R2R) HOME (74-25)

Hours of Work : 17.5 Hours per week

Purpose of the Position : The Residential Support Worker is part of a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for providing in-home support to residents within a semi-independent congregate living environment. Residential Support Workers facilitate recovery and improved quality of life in a professionally and culturally appropriate manner. Residential Support Workers help residents address needs associated with mental illness addictions physical health and life skills as residents learn and apply skills necessary to facilitate recovery improvement quality of life and like skills needed to maintain affordable and sustainable housing

Education and Qualifications :

• Achieve a level of education and / or experience as follows :

At least two (2) years relevant experience working with people diagnosed with mental health and addiction issues; or

Salary scale : $24.76 to $28.41 per hour commensurate with qualifications and experience
