IT Systems Administrator - Network & Security

Salary : $85,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements :

• Proven experience managing enterprise IT environments with a deep understanding of operating systems (Windows / Linux).
• Practical expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Strong proficiency in virtualization technologies, specifically VMware ESXi.
• In-depth knowledge of database management systems including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with computer networking concepts, such as DNS configuration, VPN setup, and REST APIs.
• Capability to create automation scripts using Bash (Unix shell), Python, and Shell Scripting.
• Experience utilizing DevOps tools like Git and Jenkins; familiarity with Kubernetes is advantageous.
• Awareness of security best practices related to network infrastructure and data protection.
• Excellent analytical skills with the capacity to operate independently or collaboratively in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities :

Oversee and support cloud services, including AWS and Azure, ensuring peak performance and robust security.

Maintain and enhance virtualization environments utilizing VMware and ESXi, encompassing configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrades.

Manage databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL solutions while optimizing their performance.

Configure and supervise operating systems, incorporating Windows and Linux across servers and workstations.

Implement and troubleshoot DNS, VPNs, REST APIs, and networking components to ensure seamless connectivity.

Develop automation scripts employing Bash (Unix shell), Python, and other scripting languages to enhance operational efficiency.

Employ DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Kubernetes for continuous integration and deployment processes.

Monitor system stability, conduct regular backups, apply necessary patches, and ensure compliance with security protocols across platforms.

Collaborate with development teams to facilitate application deployment utilizing technologies such as JavaScript, Java, T-SQL, and PL / SQL.

Document system setups and procedures; provide technical support for resolving complex issues.
