Position Overview

The City of Guelph is looking for hardworking, motivated team players looking to work at our Wastewater Services facility to help maintain the grounds and facility. If you like working as part of a team, enjoy a variety of duties and like getting a little dirty, this is the opportunity for you! The anticipated employment dates will be April 2026 to August 2026.

These positions will assist the Wastewater Services Maintenance & Treatment teams in the upkeep of the Wastewater Services facilities.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Performing maintenance duties related to grounds keeping; including litter / garbage control, general landscaping, general housekeeping, painting, and various duties related to the upkeep of Wastewater Treatment facility
• Operate landscape related equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and requirements

Hours of work

Any five consecutive shifts of 8 hours; Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm.
