Application Support Analyst page is loaded## Application Support Analystlocations : Vaughan, Ontariotime type : Full timeposted on : Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id : R31436## Position SummaryThe Application Support Analyst acts as the primary link between our business operations and our technical development team.You will support the specialized software applications used to manage the transportation lifecycle (intake weighing, lab data tracking, treatment status, and regulatory reporting).## Key Responsibilities### 1. Application Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide Tier 2 support for proprietary and third-party applications used in transportation management (TMS) and facility operations.
- Diagnose and resolve software issues related to driver mobile apps, scale-house software, and inventory tracking systems.
- Manage the IT service desk queue, prioritizing critical issues that impact truck movement or facility intake.### 2. Transportation & Logistics Systems
- Troubleshoot issues regarding digital manifests and bill-of-lading generation for soil transport.
- Assist dispatch teams with software configuration for route optimization and asset allocation.### 3. Bio-Treatment & Compliance Data
- Ensure accurate data flow between scale systems and the central database for billing and inventory.
- Assist in generating compliance reports for environmental regulatory bodies using SQL or built-in reporting tools.## ## Qualifications### Education & Experience
- Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience :
- 2–4 years of experience in Application Support, Help Desk, or Systems Analysis is a plus
- Prior experience supporting
- Logistics / Supply Chain
- Waste Management
- , or
- Environmental Services
- software is highly preferred.Technical Skills
- Database :
- Proficiency in
- SQL
- (ability to write queries to investigate data discrepancies).
- Reporting :
- Exposure to Power BI.### ### Soft Skills
- Strong analytical skills with a "root cause" mindset.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (e.g., explaining a sync error to a dispatcher).
- Patience and empathy when dealing with high-pressure operational environments.
