Warehouse Manager
Based in Kelowna, BC - the Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the warehouse and distribution facility. This role ensures the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining safety, accuracy, and productivity standards. The Warehouse Manager leads a team of supervisors and staff, implements best practices in inventory control, and coordinates with logistics and customer service to meet company goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse and distribution operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Supervise and mentor warehouse supervisors, team leads, and staff, fostering a high-performance team environment.
- Ensure accurate inventory control, including cycle counts, stock rotation, and reconciliation.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to optimize warehouse productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate with transportation, logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to meet operational targets.
- Plan and manage staffing, scheduling, and labor allocation to meet operational needs.
- Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment, storage systems, and facility organization.
Requirements :
5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.Proven leadership experience managing large teams in a warehouse or distribution setting.Experience with inventory management systems (WMS), ERP softwareStrong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping / receiving, and labor management.Salary in the 90,000-100,000 range depending on experience.
