Career Opportunity :

We are seeking a talented and motivated Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize control systems for a variety of applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and maintain control systems, including hardware and software integration.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including datasheets and system specifications.
  • Develop control algorithms, control narratives, and system logic for automation applications.
  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other automation equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
  • Perform system testing, debugging, and validation to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams as needed.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of work experience in control systems engineering.
  • Strong understanding of control theory, automation systems, and industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet / IP, PROFIBUS).
  • Experience with CAD software for electrical schematics.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is an asset.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Siemens) and HMI / SCADA development is an asset.
  • Familiarity with advanced technologies such as IoT, AI, or machine learning in control applications is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to exercise good judgment in prioritizing work.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic work environment.
  • Professional team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive, "can-do" attitude.
