Position : Maintenance Planner

Status : Full Time Permanent Position

Location : Scarborough, ON.

Overview :

• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) is required
• Strong proficiency in Fiix CMMS is an asset.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment within the maintenance department
• Performing physical inventory count and re-structure of maintenance parts store as required
• Providing regular reporting on plant spare parts - including inventory, purchases, receipts, delays, & cost reduction.
• Prepare & administer all maintenance PO's & purchasing administrative duties as required that include sourcing, expediting, inquiries, ordering, receiving & administration of maintenance requirements.
• Participate actively & contribute to the development of operational excellence & maintenance programs including the development of procedures & standards for site equipment & facility maintenance as required.
• Manage, update, modify & control Work Order & PM management for maintenance of assets & the facility.
• Create maintenance work orders from work requests.
• Verify work requests with initiator as necessary and enter WO into system.
• Review contents of request to determine feasibility. Keep requestor and all required stakeholders updated on status.
• Plan & assemble the complete job package for all work orders ensuring correct parts, consumables, information, permits & labor requirements are available allowing work scheduling.
• Coordinate procurement & knitting of parts as well as contact outside resources if required for the scheduled work orders.
