The Peace River School Division, in conjunction with Holy Family Catholic Regional Division, is seeking applicants for a Full-Time Project PEACE Success Coach . The position commences on January 5, 2025 or sooner, and is based at Glenmary Junior / Senior High, Peace River, Alberta.
Job Summary
The MHCB Success Coach provides addiction and mental health promotion and prevention to children, youth, and families. Working as part of a team, the position develops and delivers developmentally appropriate, evidence‑based programming that meets the objectives of the MHCB initiative. Programming includes large‑and small‑group work in schools and community settings, focusing on increasing knowledge, building skills, and fostering abilities for improved mental health and wellness.
Success Coaches work with school staff, parents, and community members to increase knowledge, skills, and competence related to mental health and illness issues. They build strong relationships and act as the “go‑to” mental health subject‑matter experts for students, staff, parents, and community partners.
They also facilitate referrals to specialized addiction and mental health services and ensure compliance with HIA, FOIPP, and all relevant AHS policies. Evaluation activities and survey data collection as required by AHS are also part of the role.

Benefits
