Randstad is seeking a skilled and reliable General Laborer to join our client's team in Brampton. This is a full-time position offering a consistent Monday to Thursday schedule., from 6 : 45am to 5 : 15pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including material handling, machine operation support, and general facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Moving cuttings from CNC machines and placing them into drums.
  • Moving bars of raw materials to CNC machines.
  • Deburring and cleaning mechanical parts.
  • Supporting cleaning of the production area
  • Assisting with quality checks.
  • Maintaining building grounds (lawn maintenance, salting walkways).
  • Organizing and inventorying parts.
  • Assisting Material Handlers.
  • Using material handling equipment.
  • Packaging parts according to standard operating procedures
  • Qualifications

  • 2 / 3 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Machine Operator experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50LBS
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures.
  • Excellent attendance
  • Excellent communication skills
