Join our Conventional Engineering team as Manager, Facilities Engineering, based in Calgary. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Process & Facilities Engineering, you’ll lead a high-performing team responsible for evaluating, designing, and executing projects that range from under $10K to over $10MM in value.This role combines technical depth with leadership impact—you’ll guide your team in making critical decisions and delivering practical, fit-for-purpose solutions that drive operational excellence. Success in this position requires strong communication skills to align efforts across all levels of the organization and maintain strong relationships with field operations.Provide technical guidance and coaching to ensure practical, fit-for-purpose solutions and foster ownership within the team.Oversee engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, documentation requirements, and quality expectations—including third-party EPC work.Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements : A Professional Engineer registered with APEGA, with the ability to authenticate engineering deliverables. Minimum of 12 years ofwithin oil and gas. Experience and knowledge specifically within upstream oil and gas and facility design considered an asset. experience in operations and facilities engineering Deep knowledge and application of industry codes and standards, including but not limited to ASME B31.3 and CSA Z662.Strong understanding of facility design and project execution, with a proven ability to deliver practical, fit-for-purpose solutions.
