Position Overview
You’re a natural at aligning diverse teams across all phases of large scale, energy capital projects. Your strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and proven leadership enable you to manage complex interfaces and deliver major projects safely, on schedule, and on budget.
As the Senior Project Engineer, (TLSE), you will provide engineering oversight and technical leadership across the delivery of a major LNG expansion program. You will be accountable for coordinating and overseeing the work of engineering consultants, procurement teams, and construction contractors throughout the full project lifecycle. This includes scope development, regulatory and permitting activities, detailed engineering, and execution support, ensuring alignment with program objectives and FortisBC standards.
The Tilbury Program is a portfolio of major capital projects designed to significantly increase LNG storage and liquefaction capacity at FortisBC’s Tilbury Island LNG facility. These projects will strengthen the resiliency of FortisBC’s gas system, support energy security for the Lower Mainland, and enable customers to reduce their carbon footprint by advancing LNG as a lower carbon alternative to diesel or bunker fuel in marine and industrial applications.
