Job description

Professionnel Ingénierie, Matériaux et Procédés

  • En tant que membre de l’équipe d’Ingénierie, vous apporterez un support de
  • première ligne aux activités reliés aux avions CRJ en service et développement de

produits.

  • Vous serez responsable d'exécuter une large gamme de fonctions techniques,

    • comme l'évaluation des processus, des matériaux métalliques et non-métalliques

    et leurs limitations.

  • Vous devrez voir à l’application des requis du groupe Matériaux et Procédés et
  • fournir une expertise dans les activités allant de la conception à la réparation de

    • pièces d’aéronefs, en production, en service et supporter notre chaine d’approvisionnement.

  • Traiter les nouvelles réglementations environnementales qui ont un impact sur

    • MHIRJ et nos produits.

  • Vous ferez des investigations techniques, participerez à la résolution de

    • problèmes complexes, prendre des décisions techniques et fournir régulièrement des mises-à-jour sur la situation à la direction.

    Qualifications :

  • Vous détenez un baccalauréat en génie des matériaux, en génie chimique ou en
  • chimie, et possédez un minimum de 10 années d’expérience pertinente dans des

    • fonctions similaires.

  • Vous connaissez les matériaux utilisés en aéronautique, et particulièrement les

    • matériaux non-métalliques tels que les produits d’étanchéité, adhésifs, lubrifiants, peintures, ainsi que les procédés qui s’y rattachent.

  • Vous êtes familiers avec les opérations de traitement de surface, anodisation,

    • conversion chimique, plaquage.

  • Vous connaissez les caractéristiques de l'aluminium, du titane, de l'acier et de

    • l'acier résistant à la corrosion ainsi que de leur traitement.

  • Vous êtes autonome et faites preuve d’un bon jugement.
  • Vous êtes au courant des normes typiques militaires ou de l'industrie de

    • l'aéronautique, comme les spécifications MIL, fédérales, SAE, etc.

  • D'excellentes aptitudes pour la communication orale et écrite en français et en

    • anglais sont requises.

    Professional Engineering, Materials and Processes

  • As a member of the Engineering team, you will provide front-line support to

    • activities related to CRJ aircraft in service and product development.

  • You will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical functions,

    • such as the evaluation of processes, metallic and non-metallic materials and their limitations.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring the application of the requirements of the

    • Materials and Processes group and providing expertise in activities ranging from the design to the repair of aircraft parts, in production, in service and supporting our supply chain.

  • Handle new environmental regulations that have an impact on MHIRJ and our

    • products.

  • You will conduct technical investigations, participate in the resolution of

    • complex problems, make technical decisions and provide regular updates on the situation to management.

    Qualifications :

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in materials engineering, chemical engineering

    • or chemistry, and have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in

    similar functions.

  • You know the materials used in aeronautics, particularly non-metallic
  • materials such as sealants, adhesives, lubricants, paints, as well as the processes related to them.
  • You are familiar with surface treatment, anodizing, chemical conversion,

    • plating operations.

  • You know the characteristics of aluminum, titanium, steel and corrosion-

    • resistant steel as well as their treatment.

  • You are autonomous and demonstrate good judgment.
  • You are aware of typical military or aeronautics industry standards, such as

    • MIL, federal, SAE specifications, etc.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English are

    • required.
